How to kiss a frog

How to kiss a frog

No, this isn't a post about fairy tales, although the princess/frog/kiss story is a good one. How to Kiss a Frog is a Swedish children's brand and it's just lovely. You can actually see fairy tale-ish elements in the styles HTKAF has on their site. Victorian ruffles and pin-tucks add frill while the color palette stays neutral.

Big love for Smallable

smallable

My lovely friend, Jess, sent me the link to Smallable and made me oh-so happy. It's all of my favorite kid clothing brands in one place. Bam! Plus furniture and toys and more. Obviously, I am digging the neutrals.

i heart ittikid

ittikids

I cruised ittikid all the time before Jo was born. Almost every day. Seriously. I mean, let's be real, I'm a scandi-phile. Is that a word? I would probably put Baby Jo in anything Scandinavian. All of these little lovelies are bright and quirky, and to quote my little sister, "adorbs." I also love that so many of their clothes are unisex.

I'm particularly drawn to the brand Plastisock. They were on Zulily earlier this year and I'm kicking myself for not snagging anything.

My mama bought these little leggings for Baby Jo. They make me smile. C'mon, they are lime green and bright orange baby leggings for fat little baby legs!

Dress-ups for boys

Dress-ups for boys

Ok, for those of you with boys, here you go. You can always go the suit-jacket route, but I like little vests or cardigans that let boys look like boys and not tiny men. I also love boys in bow-ties, so maybe add a tie like this.

I was playing around on Polyvore for the first time. It's quite fun.
