Inspired

Last night I went to my ladies-reading-ladies book club. It was awesome. I didn't read the book for this month (The Discovery of Witches), but I knew we were also talking about The Hunger Games and was hungry (hehehe) for some good conversation. It was a blast. Our host made a beautiful spread of food and drink (as always) and we talked and laughed and even read aloud from a few choice chapters.

I have to say that I haven't read much lately. Honestly, it has seemed like a chore. I'm in the middle of the third Game of Thrones book as well as Operating Instructions and would love to start Bossy Pants, but when I have free time there are so many things I need to do that reading seems to be at the bottom of my list.

That being said, last night renewed my interest in reading! I left the get-together inspired and ready to dig back into books, especially since the books we picked for the next book club meeting are so awesome!

Women Who Run With the Wolves -- which I've read, but it was years ago and deserves a re-read.

Some Girls: My Life in a Harem -- which will be interesting when paired with our first book.

I'm ordering these today!
